Ron Paul for President! - The only President who will make level headed decisions regarding climate change. “Lower taxes and less government spending will put more money in your pocket. A sound monetary policy will increase the value of that money and drive down the costs of living.” Ron Paul, March 4, 2008 said as part of his policy to Forbes trailwatch . Yes, while the mainstream media assert that John McCain has secured nomination already while Huckabee out, Ron Paul is still in the race. the potential 6% passionate voters for Ron Paul as President are more likely to vote For Clinton than for McCain.
Why is a nomination still possible? Voters know that McCain is a strong supporter of the Iraq war and too much of a protégé of George Bush. Those U.S. voters who are for Ron Paul most likely have more in common with the liberal white working class mentality of Hillary Clinton than with the international war propagandist John McCain (bomb, bomb, bomb Iran…). McCain needs a real enemy in order to win voters against the democrats - which would be Hillary Clinton. But when it comes to globalization power including
- North American Union (NAU)
- Carbon tax and trade
- Continuation of international conflict management imposed by the U.S. imperialism
…it doesn’t matter whether you elect the Democrats or the Republicans. I am not an American. I am just a Swiss who has had similar issues to deal with (Switzerland is an island in the midst of the rising power ‘Europoean Union’ who now challenges the tax authority of Switzerland). There are close historical ties between the U.S. Federal Constitution and the Swiss Federal Constitution. From this point of view, I can say: If you want to secure the independency of the U.S. and the freedom that the American Constitution grants, the only candidate is
RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT !
Here is a word from Ron Paul. And in case your favorite newspaper keeps ignoring Ron Paul as a valid candidate who would really make a difference, here is a link to Forbes Trailwatch which will keep you informed in a balanced way regarding the U.S. Presidential pre-election.
Climatepatrol strongly recommends Ron Paul, especially when it comes to climate issues as part of the big globalization picture. See also the campaign website www.ronpaul2008.com

Update March 16, 2008
Vote for Ron Paul wherever you are in the world!
http://www.youtube.com/ytawards07
Ron Paul’s son Rand gives campaign update on youtube. “He basically acknowledges that he can’t win the nomination, BUT…”
My comment: Isn’t he sort of an independent now because he can’t win the favor of the Republicans before the National Convention September 1-4, 2008, in Minneapolis? On the other side of the political spectrum is a real “independent” running for President - Ralph Nader - again!
Now, I am not sure how important the question of pulling out the troops from Irak is for the U.S. voters when electing the next President. It will be interesting to see what happens if Ron Paul runs for President till the end, for instance by stepping down as a Republican Congressman in Texas after a lost nomination in September? Or by a revolutionary grassroots movement? One thing is pretty sure, the U.S. voters who will vote for Nader will take away votes from the Democrats and thus indirectly prolong the Irak war. Now if you you are close to the Republicans and vote for Ron Paul, it’s a completely different story. You take away votes from John McCain who wouldn’t mind to have U.S. soldiers in Iraq for 100 years according to Rand Paul. So while your votes will thus probably indirectly support a democratic candidate, you set a conservative, liberal signal. Isn’t it ironic? leftists vote for Nader and weaken the Democrats, libertarians and conservative Republicans vote for Ron Paul and thus strengthen the Democrats?

Climatepatrol, as always, you got the basic facts wrong. to become president, you MUST win the nomination.
a landslide victory is NOT possible for Ron Paul, at all!
in politics, as in climate science, you are ignoring the most basic and simple principles and then draw completely false conclusions.
sod,
As always I beg to disagree with you on basic facts regarding predicting the future. But at this point in time, you are most probably right regarding Ron Paul. To me, at this point, it would be already a victory if the Ron Paul compaign gets finally noticed by the mainstream media. Regarding the chance that still existed on March 5 and the conditions under which Ron Paul could still be nominated, I am not an expert and kindly ask you to just use the above mentioned links. The Ron Paul campaign is not just about becoming President, it is a campaign for freedom. The 6% potential voters of Ron Paul will likely not vote for John McCain once the latter is nominated, but the votes may go to the democrats. The U.S. are in big trouble, no matter whether Clinton, Obama or McCain will become President. Anyhway, what you call basic facts could be wiped out tomorrow (God forbid).
I dont know what you mean by basic facts regarding climate science, but in climate science, there are probably enough specialists who will disagree with you on issues that are easy to comprehend, not because you are ignorant of some facts but because the issue of global change with global warming alarmism being a part of it, is probably the most complex issue mankind has ever dealt with. In my humble opinion, this should lead those who feel so secure in their knowledge regarding climate change and the human influence on the future climate, to address questions or conclusions from sceptics of the IPCC process with respect, not with arrogance. In this respect I recommend an excellent blog of a German weatherman.

Thanks for dropping by.
sorry, but your problem in this case (again!) is, that you are wrong on everything.
that paul might “win2 is impossible, because of the primary results. he simply cannot.
that he would be a “better” candidate is false, because he didn t win the primaries, and people DO make their primary choice, based on their assumption of the winning chances of the candidates.
the 6% neoliberalists you quote are NOT going to vote for a democrat.
and Obama is the candidate who will most likely represent the democrats, NOT Clinton.
that YOU believe that a vote for him is possible does NOT change his chances. even if McCain should drop out by accident/incident , Paul would NOT be the replacement, nor would he win a landslide victory.
Sorry Sir, but completely wrong wavelength again.
I just have to clarify for the readers here.
For instance, I did not talk about 6% neoliberalists, I said:
‘The 6% potential voters of Ron Paul will likely not vote for John McCain once the latter is nominated.’
Make no mistake, I was talking about U.S. citizens, not Republican delegates,
and in the lead…
‘the potential 6% passionate voters for Ron Paul as President are more likely to vote For Clinton than for McCain.’
and…
‘Those U.S. voters who are for Ron Paul most likely have more in common with the liberal white working class mentality of Hillary Clinton than with the international war propagandist John McCain (bomb, bomb, bomb Iran…).’
Never did I say whether Clinton will win the nomination. Please don’t put words in my mouth.
That is correct. We saw that in Texas nicely. Victory for Congressman Paul, but no chance for President Paul.
Reports that Ron Paul has quit the Presidential Race remind me of Mark Twain’s famous “Reports of my death are greatly exaggerated”. Please read on here…
